HELEN HUANG

Director of Development 

Helen Huang has worked consistently in both the US and China, beginning her entertainment career in 2010 at Endgame Entertainment, a prominent film financing production company. In 2011, Huang started in the Motion Pictures Books Department at CAA, one of Hollywood’s top talent agencies, where she worked with the agency’s literary clients. In 2014, Huang returned to China and worked with Sohu Video in China on content acquisition and partnerships with U.S. agencies and production companies.

In 2015, Huang began working with Renny Harlin’s Midnight Sun Pictures in China advising on script development with both U.S. and Chinese writers, translating and adapting intellectual properties, collaborating with producers, directors, actors, studio executives, financiers and agents in Hollywood, China and Europe. Huang worked on the recent production of Skiptrace, starring Jackie Chan, Johnny Knoxville and Bingbing Fan, and Alibaba Pictures’ upcoming Legend of the Ancient Sword. 

Huang graduated from Scripps College with a B.A. in English Lit & Media Studies and received an M.A. in English Literature from New York University Graduate School of Arts & Sciences.
